Conor McGregor May Have Just Announced His Retirement on Twitter
“Catch ya’s later.”

Will Conor McGregor’s UFC 200 rematch with Nate Diaz — who stunned the Irishman with a rear naked choke at UFC 196 — be his last? It looks like it may very well be.
McGregor just took to Twitter to announce he’s decided to hang it up while he’s young, thanking UFC and his sponsors for the cash before bidding everyone adieu.
I have decided to retire young.
Thanks for the cheese.

So is the Diaz rematch even still on? Given the high-profile nature of the fight — not to mention the fact the McGregor has probably already signed a contract guaranteeing his appearance — fans can probably expect the welterweight bout to go down as planned, though it may be the very last time we see McGregor in the Octagon.
UFC 200 is slated for July 9 in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena.
