Watch Sesame Street Covering Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's "Tha Crossroads"

An unusual pairing to say the least, but an entertaining one at that. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is the latest band to get the cover treatment from the muppets over at Sesame Street. However the cohort of friendly fake characters aren’t new to the rap game, as they’ve since covered tracks from the likes of 2Pac, the Beastie Boys, Dr. Dre, Kanye West and many more. In this rendition of “Tha Crossroads” that’s almost perfectly synced, you’ll find a few of the street-side members executing perfect flow, with Cookie Monster taking on Krayzie Bone’s — who recently revealed that he’s suffering from sarcoidosis, the same disease that took the life of Bernie Mac — verses and Elmo doing an uncanny Layzie Bone.
