NEPENTHES Takes an Off-Beat Road Trip for Its 2016 Spring/Summer Editorial
Seasonal styles and Japanese trucker art.
Never the most conventional of retailers, Japan’s NEPENTHES took an appropriately off-beat road trip to showcase some of its latest goods. Its Spring/Summer 2016 “On the Road” editorial was photographed by Masaru Tatsuki, styled by Daisuke Araki and uses “Japanese trucker art” as an unusual backdrop for its standout seasonal styles. Included among them are pieces like Engineered Garments’ Cagoul and Balloon Pants, a track suit and the Oriental Button Shirt from Needles, and South2 West8’s utilitarian Tenkara Shirt, all of which are available at NEPENTHES locations in Tokyo, Osaka, Hakata and New York.
