Fledgling Japanese label Name. recently presented its forthcoming fall/winter 2016 offering at Tokyo Fashion Week. Designer Noriyuki Shimizu centered his range around the theme of “ambivalence,” a concept reflected in the eclectic nature of his latest collection which mixes up elements of avant-garde sportswear, rugged workwear, and even some hints of Americana. Highlights include wool overcoats, oversized crewnecks, airy trousers, and flannel pieces rendered in various color schemes and cuts.
