The Maison Margiela Replica Sneaker Gets Plastered
A nod to 2013’s Converse First String collab?

Back in 2013, Maison Margiela teamed up with Converse’s First String line to introduce unique paint-covered Chucks and Jack Purcells. Now the French atelier looks to be bringing that motif to its own Replica sneaker with a new “Plaster” release for Spring/Summer 2016. Crafted in Italy, the all-white design sees the familiar silhouette intact, but covers the entirety of its premium leather construction with a matching plaster that will crack and chip with wear for a one-of-a-kind look.
Retailing for $660 USD, the plastered Replica is available now at stockists like Très Bien while supplies last.
