Pentax Celebrates Ricoh's 80th Anniversary With a Special Edition K-3 II
Ricoh’s GR II isn’t the only shooter getting special treatment.

Ricoh’s GR II isn’t the only camera getting a special silver treatment in honor of the Japanese company’s 80th anniversary. Ricoh-owned Pentax is also getting in on the action, introducing a special version of its K-3 II. Like the original, Pentax’s flagship APS-C camera will retain the likes of its 24-megapixel AA filterless CMOS sensor, 27-point AF system, sensor-shift IS, 4.5 stops of shake reduction, built-in GPS, gyroscope-based panning detection, and automatic horizon correction, but will now come in textured silver coating for its magnesium-alloy construction.
Limited to just 500 units, the design will be available exclusively from Ricoh’s website later this spring for $899.95 USD.
