Woody Harrelson Will Shoot and Live Stream a Movie Into Theaters Simultaneously
‘Lost in London’ is inspired by a night he spent in a London jail.
With streaming becoming more mainstream, it’s a mystery why Hollywood hasn’t tried to incorporate it. This is all about to change with a groundbreaking first; a live broadcast film. Actor Woody Harrelson has stepped up to become the man to take on the challenge of shooting a movie while live streaming it into theaters. The motion picture titled Lost in London, is inspired by a night the actor spent in a London jail. The nearly two-hour film will be shot in 14 different locations across London in a single take. Woody is the writer and director and will star alongside Owen Wilson and Willie Nelson. Asked why no one has ever tried it before, he responded “no one’s ever been that stupid – until now!”

The film will stream on January 19 at 9 p.m. ET in over 550 theaters. You can find more info here.
