Liam Hemsworth & Woody Harrelson Face off in 'The Duel'
Texas Ranger vs. maniacal preacher.
The Denzel Washington- and Chris Pratt-driven take on The Magnificent Seven isn’t the only new Western on the way. Hitting theaters before director Antoine Fuqua’s highly anticipated remake is Lionsgate’s The Duel. Helmed by Australian actor turned director/screenwriter Kieran Darcy-Smith, the film hits the Great Plains of the 1880s as Texas Ranger David Kingston (Liam Hemsworth) heads to an Old West frontier town to investigate a bevy of local murders and disappearances, only to come up against maniacal preacher Abraham Brant (Woody Harrelson).
The Duel hits theaters June 24.
