Wow House Guests With This $30,000 USD Floating Coffee Table
Hoverboard-style furniture in your home.

Hoverboards are a popular holiday gift, the entertainment value for them are high so it’s always fun flying one. But what about a hover table? The engineers at Siren Design Studios decided to answer that question with its Tele Taxídi aka Perfect Journey. The glass tabletop uses a large pair of rare-earth magnets balanced over one another to hover two inches above its base and employs a series of 1,000+ lbs tested Kevlar cord and pulleys that hold everything in place. The structure is strong enough to support books, glasses and mugs, and even the weight of your feet. If you have $30,000 USD laying around, you can take one home.
