White Mountaineering Crafts an Overdyed Barbour Jacket
A British staple gets a Japanese redesign.
Barbour has been churning out rugged outerwear since the late 1800s and now the iconic British outfit has teamed up with White Mountaineering for a co-branded jacket intended for the transitional weather ahead. First seen back in June on the runway at White Mountaineering’s Spring/Summer 2017 show, the piece comes in a monochromatic overdyed design and couples Barbour’s signature waxed cotton construction with a bevy of pockets and a detachable hood.
Retailing for ¥56,000 JPY (approximately $476 USD), the collaborative jacket is due to hit White Mountaineering stockists in both black and navy on January 3, 2017.
