Nike SB's Latest Dunk High Pays Homage to the "Purple Box"
Equipped with ostrich leather and premium suede.

This past September, Nike Skateboarding started to roll out a slew of Dunk silhouettes to commemorate its widely-acclaimed box editions: orange, gray and pink. This time around, the Swoosh is ushering the “Purple Box” iteration to pay tribute to the acclaimed sneakers released in that particular series, such as the “MF Doom,” “Send Helps” and “Dinosaur Jr.” renditions. For the impending commemorative shoe, the Dunk High is wrapped in premium black suede alongside an ostrich leather toe box and silver piping to outline the signature overlays. Moreover, the kicks receive a translucent outsole, purple laces, and of course a shoe box graphic emblazoned on the heel like the previous drops.
The Nike SB “Purple Box” edition is slated for release this December 26 on the Nike SNKRS app for approximately $130 USD. Get a closer look at the model above and let us know if it piques your interest.
