Niantic Confirms New Pokémon Will Be Released Into the Wild
Gotta catch ‘em all again.
The rumors at the end of November are coming true. Pokémon GO developer Niantic confirmed today that the game will release new Pokemon on December 12. “Keep an eye out on our social media channels on December 12th for details about the first addition of more Pokémon into Pokémon GO,” was the official company statement. The initial release of the game sparked one of the craziest trends of the summer and had a large diverse audience walking, running and driving around trying to catch the virtual creatures around the world. For some, this release will mean gearing up with battery packs and bracing against the cold weather in a renewed effort to becoming the very best; for others, this may just be too late.
