Nick Knight's 2016 British Fashion Awards Videos Featured Whimsical Designs and Travis Scott Songs
The works both opened and closed the ceremony.
The 2016 British Fashion Awards took place this past Monday, December 5th and a few notable winners include: Craig Green for best menswear designer, Simone Rocha for best womenswear designer, and Molly Goddard for best emerging talent. In addition to the stars and designers in attendance, there was also the spectacle that was the ceremony. So it was only right that guests were treated to a stimulating visual presentation featuring Nick Knight‘s work.
Through his SHOWstudio, Knight made two videos for the event — “Up” opened the celebration, while “90210” brought it to a close. The creative clips showcase works by today’s most notable designers including Molly Goddard, Nasir Mazhar, Hood By Air, Givenchy and Balenciaga. The abstract, yet beautiful visuals emphasize “both strength and delicacy, intimacy and discordance.” The vids are also accompanied by Travis Scott songs, whose album art, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight was created by Nick Knight.
