Kanye West's "Famous" Video Gets a Puppy Parody by (RED) to Raise AIDS/HIV Awareness
Starring 10 of the most famous dogs on Instagram.
(RED) is an organization that was started by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006, which till this day continues to raise awareness in the fight to end AIDS. Their efforts include raising money that go to HIV/AIDS programs. In its latest campaign video, (RED) asks “what does it mean to be famous?” To answer the question, the organization looked to recreate Kanye West’s “Famous” music video that saw the likes of Donald Trump, Kim Kardashian, Bill Cosby and many more naked, sleeping on a bed. For this rendition however, (RED) enlisted 10 of today’s most famous dogs and puppies on Instagram to star in the vid. No worries, these pups are fully clothed.
At the end of the video, it’s revealed that “Being famous makes a difference… for being famous and saving lives.” Furthermore, the pajamas featured on the pups are actually purchasable. They are available here with proceeds going towards the fight against AIDS.
