RM Sotheby’s Is Gearing up to Host This Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3
The first of its kind to go up for sale in over 10 years.

Considered one of the most significant cars in Alfa history, this Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3 is primed to hit the open market in February of next year via Sotheby’s. Rich in history as is in luxuriousness, the vintage race-ready one-seater once upon a time competed under the Scuderia Ferrari umbrella, when Alfa earlier fell to the pressures of the Great Depression — picking up a slew of victories along the way. Constructed in 1934, the Tipo B P3 is distinguished as one of only a few cars that feature the IFS Dubonnet front axle and reversed-quarter-elliptic rear spring.
