Barack Obama Struggles With Identity, Family & His Peers in Netflix's New Trailer for 'Barry'
Documenting the earlier years of the POTUS.
With U.S. President Barack Obama set to leave The White House in a couple of months, a film based on an earlier period in his life is scheduled to arrive in the very near future. On Friday, December 16, the Black Bear Pictures and Cinetic Media motion picture Barry will be available for viewing via Netflix. Featuring Australian Devon Terrell as a 20-year-old Obama, Barry presents a look at Barack Obama’s days at a college student in New York City and documents his struggles with his parents and peers. The Vikram Gandhi-directed movie was originally debuted at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, and garnered mostly positive reviews from critics.
