This Is What a Rave in a Plane at 30,000 Feet Looks Like
Think zero gravity, LED lights and neon costumes.
Recently, Desperados took partying to the next level by developing the ultimate bass drop experience in collaboration with the Barong Family DJ collective, and neuroscientist Daniel Levitin. Participants took to the skies above the Nevada desert in a specially outfitted airplane allowing DJ Mike Cervello, who was MC’ing the experience, to build the beat as the plane climbed to 30,000 feet and then drop the bass as the partiers floated around the plane in zero gravity. Watch the video recap of the high-altitude rave above, and keep your eyes on Desperados for more boundary-pushing events.
