The fifth anniversary of Dubai’s Sole DXB saw the footwear-meets-lifestyle festival stage its biggest party yet, pulling in 18,000 people, 45 brands, and 25 artists and DJs (not to mention 12 basketball teams competing in front of Nike’s vivid pink stand) for the two-day celebration of all things streetwear in the heart of the city’s Design District. From hotly anticipated product launches, collaborations, film screenings, and debates to blockbuster sets by the likes of Skepta and Stormzy, it was a vibrant reminder of the city’s on-the-rise streetwear scene. Over the course of the weekend we picked out some of the event’s sharpest dressers from an international crowd who weren’t shy to show off everything from Pablo tees to NMDs with plenty of personal twists and a positive attitude that epitomized Sole DXB’s fifth installment.
