KICKS LAB. Crafts a "Hikeshi Hanten" Rendition of the ASICS GEL-Lyte III
A nod to the Japanese firemen’s coats of old.
After taking on Le Coq Sportif’s R800 and the PUMA Disc Blaze in recent months, KICKS LAB. is turning its attention to ASICS this winter, teaming up with the Tiger imprint for a special rendition of the GEL-Lyte III. Dubbed the “Hikeshi Hanten,” the limited-edition, co-branded endeavor is inspired by the sashiko-style Japanese firemen’s coats of centuries past. The result is a clean red, white, and blue take on the retro runner that couples premium leather and suede with a cotton base, custom embroidery and graphic work by Sneakerwolf.
Expect the limited-edition release to be available from KICKS LAB. come December 10.
