Hot on the heels of his “Predictably irrational” show in Milan is a new exhibit which JonOne calls “Crossing Over.” This forthcoming solo show is a special one for the Big Apple native since it will be displayed at Galerie Bartoux in New York City. The artist’s signature abstract expressionist graffiti motif is inherent throughout his latest artwork that “depicts the relationship between positive and negative space as a means of exploring the boundary between chaos and order,” said the gallery in a statement. “Through the creation of his flowing compositions, JonOne captures the beauty found within the chaos of bustling cities.” Not to mention, it’s important to note that each piece takes inspiration from the freestyle graffiti movement in the 1980s that saw striking colors and wild calligraphy.

Take a look at select artwork above and expect “Crossing Over” to launch on November 30 up until January 8, 2017.
