Canada Goose Launches Flagship Store in NYC
Setting up shop down south.
Canadian cold weather clothing brand Canada Goose is set to open a SoHo flagship store on Wooster Street in New York City. The 4,000-square-foot space is decorated with fixtures that celebrate its home country of Canada, such as soft maple benches from the Ontario-based millworker DB Johnson and raw marble detailing from British Columbia. Polar bear sculptures by the contemporary artist Jason Carter also adorn the luxe space. The store is set to stock 3,500-plus units per season, including new styles, collaborations, archival pieces and styles exclusive to the brand’s retail stores. The official opening is set for this Thursday, November 17. Canada Goose‘s other current standalone store resides in Toronto, Canada.
