Will the adidas Iniki Runner Boost Be the Next Classic?
The Boost goes retro.
The Three Stripes’ proprietary Boost tooling has had a strong influence on modern sneaker aesthetics, being the foundation of some of 2016’s most successful silhouettes such as the NMD, Yeezy Boost, as well as the numerous iterations of the Ultra Boost and Ultra Boost Uncaged. Changing its course slightly, adidas has combined Boost with a retro aesthetic with the Iniki Runner Boost. Coming in a diversity of timeless colorways, the neoclassical shoe features an upper made of nubuck suede and neoprene, and sits atop a lofty full-length Boost midsole in white. Scheduled to debut in early 2017, the adidas Iniki Runner Boost will retail for $120 USD. Stay tuned for more information.
