Did adidas Just Unveil a Boost-Less NMD?
Does this make or break adidas’ newest silhouette?

adidas’s Boost cushioning has been the main reason for the success of the Three Stripes as of late, as the cushioning technology is what made its Ultra Boost and NMD models two of the most popular footwear models on the market. But, the latest release from adidas is stripped of the popular Boost cushioning while looking surprisingly similar to an NMD series model. Known as the adidas X PLR, the silhouette features a similar cage overlay to the NMD, but with a simpler leather construction and a standard outsole. However, its lacing system is non-traditional as the shoe features an elastic cord and toggle lacing system.
The adidas X PLR is set to release sometime in December. Stayed tuned for more details as they become available.
