Magnolia Pictures debuts the trailer for its new indie noir thriller A Kind of Murder. Set in the 1960s, Jessica Biel and Patrick Wilson star as a married couple with personal problems living in New York City. Wilson plays an architect who becomes obsessed with an unsolved murder, but when his wife (Biel) mysteriously disappears, he raises the suspicions of a Detective Lawrence Corby (Vincent Kartheiser) who believes he’s responsible. Directed by Andy Goddard, A Kind of Murder premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. It will be released in select theaters on December 16. Check out the trailer above.
