Although the Siena International Photo Awards was only conceived last year, it’s already regarded as a distinguished competition. Hundreds upon hundreds of photographers from across the globe have submitted their images for the contest’s second installment this year. These slew of shutterbugs have long awaited to be the overall winner for these particular categories: “Storyboard,” “Wine,” “Sport,” “Architecture,” “Wildlife,” “Nature,” “People and Portrait,” “Travel,” “Open Monochrome,” “Open Color” and “Student.” The winning images were thus chosen on October 27 alongside the commencement of a month-long exhibition in Italy that spans workshops, installations and tours.

Take a look at select visuals above and learn more about the contest by visiting SIPA’s official website.
