Slam City Teams up With Vans to Celebrate History
For its 30th anniversary.
This year marks Slam City‘s 30th anniversary and to celebrate the London-based skate store teams up with footwear giants Vans for a limited edition release. Two models have been chosen for the collection, the Native and the Lampin, which initially dropped back in 1988 and 1993 respectively. Featured in an off-white and a tonal black, each shoe is made over with Vans’s Pro Skate technologies, Duracap and Ultracush. The pairs also features retro Slam City artwork by Edwin Pouncey (Savage Pencil) and Tod Swank. The Vans x Slam City Skates Native and Lampin are available now at Slam City Skates’ store as well as online. Prices run for £59.99 GBP (approximately $73 USD) for the Lampin and £64.99 GBP (approximately $70 USD) for the Native.
