The original BMW Films in the early 2000s set a precedent that associated BMW’s cars with riveting high-action visuals. It appears that the franchise has returned, along with original cast member Clive Owen to promote the BMW 2017 5 Series sedan. District 9 director Neill Blomkamp shows his knack for action sequences in the short film, featuring Jon Bernthal as a mercenary who must deliver the last living clone (Dakota Fanning) to a mysterious buyer. The Driver (Clive Owen) is hired to evade authorities and deliver the clone safely, only for events to take a sharp twist.
