Drake Postpones the Rest of 'Summer Sixteen Tour' Dates Due to Injury

Get well Drizzy.

Yesterday, Drake announced his ‘Boy Meets World’ European tour, which begins in January 2017 and includes most of Europe’s major cities. As for his current ‘Summer Sixteen Tour’ with Future, however, Drizzy has reportedly postponed the remaining three stops due to “doctor’s orders.” Drake shared a brief note to fans via his OVO blog last week, announcing that a few dates would be pushed back. A statement sent to The FADER reads:

“Drake suffered a severe ankle injury during the tour which he did his best to power through. By doing this, he made his injury worse. Under doctors orders and to ensure Drake only ever gives fans the performances they deserve, he will be postponing the remaining 3 dates of his ‘Summer Sixteen’ tour to allow him time to recuperate his ankle injury. Drake’s fans mean the world to him. Seeing their faces and performing his music for them is what he loves to do the most and he can’t wait to get back on stage.”

There is currently no details as to when the dates are rescheduled to; stay tuned for more information on this. We wish the 6 God a speedy recovery.
