Jordan Brand Unleashes a Limited Satin Air Jordan 1 to Commemorate Its "Banned" Anniversary
Legendary meets luxury.

In celebration of the Air Jordan 1 Black/University Red originally being “Banned” back in 1985, Jordan Brand dropped a major surprise for its followers. A pop-up surfaced in New York City to celebrate the iconic moment that would change the sneaker industry forever. As a result, a special Satin edition of the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” was released. The silhouette stays true to the “Banned” aesthetic and hosts an upper made up of satin material, inspired by the warmup suits worn during Michael Jordan’s early playing days. Limited to 501 pairs and all individually numbered, it’s safe to say that all pairs are long gone.
Nonetheless, take a look at the special Air Jordan 1 “Satin” above and let us know your thoughts regarding the silhouette’s upgrade.
