Based on the true story of the England’s most infamous poltergeist incident, the film recounts the tale of two sisters plagued by a unknown presence in their Enfield home. The trailer is deceptively minimalistic, downplaying scare scenes but builds upon a tension and creating an eerie gothic atmosphere — the result is disturbingly still haunting. The perfect accompaniment to the popular original film, The Conjuring 2 is set for release on June 10, 2016.
