Oculus Rift Pre-Orders Kick off for 2016

As promised, the hotly-anticipated Oculus Rift is indeed launching early this year and, perhaps, arriving even earlier than expected. Although an exact release date is still unknown, Oculus announced today that its VR headset will be up for pre-order beginning this very week while each and every Rift will come bundled with Lucky’s Tale by Playful and CCP’s EVE: Valkyrie for free. Oculus founder Palmer Luckey will even be answering questions via a Reddit AMA this Wednesday, January 6 at 6 p.m. PT.
Pre-orders are set to kick off January 6 at 8 a.m. PT.
