Oculus Rift & Touch VR Headset
The hotly-anticipated headset is now equipped with touch controls and is almost ready for release.
It has been officially revealed that the much-anticipated Oculus Rift device, now complete with gesture-driven hand controls entitled Oculus Touch, is set for general release at the beginning of next year. The consumer-ready headset, featuring dual OLED screens, built-in headphones and bespoke touch controls for an immersive gaming experience, has been in development since as early as 2012 and is now ready to hit the shelves “sometime in Q1 next year.” Details are still hard to come by, but check out the video above and keep an eye on Oculus.com for more info in the coming months.
