Gilbere Forte & Raak Unveil New Band, HUNTR with New Single "Find Myself”
Gilbere Forte is back on the scene.
Ever wondered what happened to Gilbere Forte? After dropping his critically-acclaimed PRAY project in 2013, the Philadelphia native disappeared from the scene, leaving his growing fan-base wondering about his whereabouts and reasons for his sudden leave. Guess what. Gilbere is back, and he’s been very busy these last two-and-half years. He relocated to LA and joined forces with friend and longtime collaborator Raak. Together, they introduce their new band HUNTR, who have quietly released two impressive singles called “Veins” and “Kindness.” While Forte and Raak simultaneously act as vocalists and producers, the band also enlists Berklee-grad Nick Audy as the drummer, guitarist Boris Likharev from Kazahkstan, and longtime friend and New Jersey native Helly as their DJ. Today, the five-man alt/hip-hop collective, who chose to remain incognito these last few months, are now entering the musical stage with revealed identities as they present their latest song “Find Myself.” On a mission to push more progressive music to the forefront, “Find Myself” perfectly showcases the band’s ability to seamlessly fuse genres, while also adding clever transitions and honest lyricism.
