Calvin Klein Collection's 2016 Fall/Winter Features Bold Metallic Foil Against Classic Silhouettes
In an ode to men’s tailoring.

Calvin Klein Collection’s latest show sees the brand maintain its roots with a strong inclusion of denim — right at home for the brand that pioneered designer jeans. In addition to its logo-ed waistbands, it was definitely a collection that looked into the past. However, Italo Zucchelli mixed it up with a lot of metallic foil in gold, rose gold, silver and more. But the inspiration of this collection was to show off men’s tailoring, and Zucchelli showed that off by throwing suits on the backs of this generation’s line of supermodels including the likes of Mariacarla Boscono and Gemma Ward. Very sleek indeed, with a pinch of sexiness. But as for the metal foil? It definitely looked a bit too futuristic, and perhaps a little unwearable.
