As we are well on our way into the new year, there is no shortage of big announcements from some of the biggest names in streetwear and fashion. This week, Concepts and Nike celebrate 20 years of collaboration with the unveiling of a Free Trainer 1.0 updated with a high-performance Dynamic Flywire makeup and a multi-colored design inspired by thermal technology. A$AP Rocky and GUESS also announced a collaborative capsule collection heavy with nostalgic ’90s vibes. Comprised of a selection of denim, tees and even overalls, the project features a rework of GUESS’s distinct logo, the S replaced with the rapper’s signature dollar sign symbol. Taking place last week also was the 2016 Golden Globe Awards. The Revenant was the night’s big winner, with the picture taking home the award for ‘Best Drama’ and Leonardo DiCaprio securing the title of ‘Best Actor.’ Oh, and then there was Adele rapping on The Late Late Show with James Corden in which she joined the host for a ’Carpool Karaoke’ session. Met with uproarious laughter from Corden and shocking music fans everywhere, Adele dropped a flawless rendition of Nicki Minaj’s verse from “Monster.” In case you missed it, you can watch the full segment below and can check out the rest of this week’s top posts in our round-up.
