Own a Piece of Sam Simon's Legacy With Some 'The Simpsons' Memorabilia
Sotheby’s is auctioning items from the producer famous for ‘The Simpsons.’

Sam Simon passed away earlier this year, and was a legendary Hollywood producer and director. He’s probably best known for his work on The Simpsons, a series that he helped develop, write and shape into the cultural influence it is today. Also a talented illustration, Simon was considered by many to be a child prodigy and had a job offer in place from Disney when he was still a kid. Simon’s illustrations would later manifest itself in Mr. Burns, Dr. Hibbert, Chief Wiggum, Eddie, Lou and Bleeding Gums Murphy.
Sotheby’s will be auctioning off some of Simon’s personal collection, which includes several pieces of The Simpsons memorabilia such as a letterman jacket and pinball machine. But Simon’s influence also extended to various other shows, such as The Drew Carey Show of which he was a producer and director. Check out what’s available for auction at Sotheby’s.
