Nike celebrates tennis legend Pete Sampras with this classic reissue.
Striking quickly ahead of the U.S. Open in New York City at the end of the month, Nike continues its celebration of tennis heritage with the rerelease of a trophy-winning silhouette. Specifically, Pete Sampras won the U.S. Open title in 1996, all the while wearing his signature Nike Air Oscillate silhouette. Here Nike reissues the sneaker in a classic combination of white, black and deep purple, with all the charms of ’90s sportswear preserved. The sneaker is executed with a stitched leather upper and complimented by a ripstop collar, all of which rests atop a sturdy Zoom Air midsole.
