With a release right around the corner, Netflix has released the second official trailer for its upcoming original series Narcos. Starring Wagner Moura as Pablo Escobar and featuring Boyd Holbrook and Pedro Pascal, Narcos tells the story of Escobar and the Medellin cartel — maybe the single most violent, ruthless and wealthy criminal organization in the history of modern crime. Delving into the cocaine-fueled drug wars of the ’80s, the show will highlight efforts by both the United States and Colombia to take down the cartel and its billionaire “King of Cocaine.”
Season 1 of Narcos will debut on Netflix for streaming Friday, August 28.
