When outsiders think of California, we generally think of the southern beaches, cloudless skies and unbeatable weather. California-based Yuketen however, has done a good job of expressing the other side of the region over the past few seasons, presenting stellar collections of rugged, trail-inspired footwear. Here we find the brand presenting a new collection for Fall/Winter 2015, again comprised of inventive takes on mountain-ready silhouettes. The brand makes particular nods to traditional Americana, making use of moccasin-style toe boxes, generous proportions of thick leather, crepe rubber soles and woven materials.
