Tinder Introduces Verified Profiles
Now you’ll know who’s way out of your league.
Just like any other social media platform, Tinder is now stepping into “verified profile” territory. The ubiquitous blue check mark identifies users who are “notable public figures, celebrities and athletes,” so when you match with Katy Perry, you’ll know you’re talking to the real thing. So far, Tinder hasn’t offered information on how to achieve this feat, but CEO Sean Rad has hinted that it may be based on your Facebook verification status.
