Skate Break With Rob Gonzales at AGENDA Long Beach

Kicking off the summer circuit of trade shows, AGENDA took over Long Beach Convention Center this season again where fledgling brands and household street and skate imprints showcased their latest range. Among designers and brand ambassadors, a handful of legendary skaters and cultural figures also took part. We caught up with Boulevard Skateboards rider Ron Gonzales who took us to one of his favorite skate spots in his hometown Long Beach. Taking a break away from the trade show, we ventured to the Bluff Park neighborhood, where Gonzales shredded on slabs at a skate-friendly haunt normally bypassed by locals. Join by Los Angeles skater PJ Souza, the two speak on how AGENDA Long Beach offers a more laid-back alternative to its hectic counterparts in New York and Vegas, while flaunting a handful of tricks in one of their favorite “scum holes.”
