Looking to redefine the smoking experience is PAX Labs’ new vaporizer, the JUUL. Choosing to depart from the often dour, uninspired appearances of traditional e-cigarettes, the JUUL boils down the e-cigarette experience to its most essential components, packaging the mechanics of the vaporizer within an almost monolithic, featureless black device, save for a subtle battery indicator light and a characteristic diamond-shaped window onto the liquid nicotine cartridge. Available in the four flavors of “tabaac,” “miint,” “bruulé” and “fruut,” the liquid nicotine cartridges utilize a liquid-to-wick system that enables consistent vapor production, creating 3x more vapor than competitors, while the quick-charging USB battery enables approximately 200 puffs per charge, the same as a whole pack of cigarettes.
