SEGA Announces 'Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice' for Nintendo 3DS

SEGA has announced another installment in its Sonic Boom series, coming exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS. Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice follows after Rise of Lyric and Shattered Crystal, and in this gameplay the player will be required to harness the powers of the elements to advance. Playable characters include Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Sticks and Amy. Dr. Eggman also makes a return with super villain D-Fekt. The game also introduces a new mode called Bot Racing, which will featuring multiplayer aspects. Look out for the new game later this year.
