In recent months, M.I.A. has let loose of a couple new, one-off songs. Unfortunately, she’s also suffered some setbacks when it comes to getting new music and videos out to an eager public. However, it looks like we can now expect to see a few different new releases from M.I.A. in the near future. Taking to Instagram, M.I.A. announced a new video and mixtape project, the latter of which is billed as one cohesive three-part piece. M.I.A’s next video is said to be another multi-part, joint piece, with the singer describing it as a 12-minute “journey around the planet.” No word on exact release dates, but let’s hope both drop soon.
