'Rock the Kasbah' Trailer Starring Bill Murray and Bruce Willis
Bill Murray and Zoe Deschanel find themselves in Kabul to compete for their place in the Afghan Star.
As directed by famed director Barry Levinson, Bill Murray’s latest role in the forthcoming feature film Rock the Kasbah features an all-star cast intertwined with the journey of rock manager Richie Lanz as he finds his way through Afghanistan. Bill Murray’s act, played by Zoe Deschanel, has been convinced to travel to the other end of the world to perform in front of “2,000 horny soldiers” in a comedy compilation that sees the duo doing everything from fighting war criminals to performing in skeptical, dimly-lit bars for Kabul’s popular Afghan Star television show. Rock the Kasbah is supported by the likes of Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, and Danny McBride and is set to release in cinemas on October 23 of this year.
