Supplied by NPR Music, more footage of Kendrick Lamar’s recent stop at a New Jersey high school has been liberated. The impetus for the visit was sparked by Brian Moodey, a teacher at High Tech High School in North Bergen, New Jersey, who decided to change up traditional curriculum by offering a unique hip-hop course for students. Moodey documented his progress with the class in a blog, which found its way to Lamar. Inspired by what he read, K-Dot decided to pay a visit to these scholars himself. From a cipher, a classroom drop-in, to school performance of “Alright,” the video documents some of the activities which took place that day. Enjoy it above, and purchase Kendrick’s critically and commercially acclaimed LP, To Pimp a Butterfly, on iTunes now.
