CMMN SWDN 2016 Spring/Summer Lookbook
The Swedish label plays with themes of con artists and the art of deception for its forthcoming menswear collection.
Founders and designers Saif Bakir and Emma Hedlund explore themes of “genuine fakes,” con artists, and the art of deception for Swedish label CMMN SWDN‘s newest range of menswear for the 2016 spring/summer season. The garments play with proportions on silhouettes that exhibit Scandinavian minimalism and clean aesthetics. Overcoats, leather jackets, denim jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, crewneck sweaters, button-up shirts, wide-legged trousers, cropped pants and shorts hold a white, gray, black, brown, and blue color palette with stripes and graphic prints featured throughout. CMMN SWDN’s forthcoming menswear collection is an interesting conception of the awareness of self and the copycat nature of the fashion industry.
