Takashi Murakami x Vans 2015 Summer Apparel and Skate Decks
Vans incorporates Murakami’s anime-influenced aesthetics known as “Superflat” onto tees and skate decks.

Longstanding skateboard imprint Vans has collaborated with acclaimed Japanese artist Takashi Murakami on a limited edition range. Interpolating Murakami’s anime-influenced aesthetics synonymous with his “Superflat” style onto a number of graphic tees and skate decks, the collection features a vibrant assortment of smiling faces and whimsical accents. Elsewhere, Murakami’s dog Pom makes cameo, characterizing the collection as its signature emblem. Check out the pieces here and look out for the collection’s drop later this month at select retailers.
