The Ghosts are set to make a welcome return to consoles in the near future, joining fellow Tom Clancy properties like Rainbow 6 and The Division as Ubisoft took to E3 in Los Angeles to reveal the latest installment of the popular Ghost Recon series: Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. The game, billed as “the first military shooter set in a massive and responsive open world,” takes place in a near-future Bolivia as the nation has been transformed into a lawless, unjust, violent narco-state at the hands of the Santa Blanca drug cartel — the largest cocaine producer in the world. Naturally, the Ghosts — an elite U.S. Special Forces unit — are sent behind enemy lines to take down the cartel in a campaign that promises to be playable completely solo or via four-player co-op.

Wildlands will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime next year.
