Making waves with her track “Pilates” and the more recent “You Ain’t Heard,” Brooklyn’s very own DonMonique has dropped her latest cut in the form of “Tha Low.” Calling on rappers Slayter and Danny Brown, the three trade verses over the gritty Stelios Philli produced track. Inspired by Wu Tang Clan’s “C.R.E.A.M,” she comments to FADAR “The beat was inspired by “C.R.E.A.M” by Wu Tang Clan. Usually all my music is made from scratch. Slayter, Stelios, and I just usually vibe off of each others energy when in the studio. Around that time, me and Danny had connected on social media and I thought the track would be perfect for him.” Take a listen above and find the track on her upcoming debut project Thirst Trap which will be out soon.
